Vintage MORRIS W-40 in very good condition.

Very good condition overall.
Neck straight, intonation solid, and Cosmetically the guitar exhibits only minor handling wear with small scuffs and dings apparent (see pics)

This dreadnought guitar can be described as very good to great condition for its age, and very rare inlays version.  A great one for your collection.

The wood is very mature, looks gorgeous with its 3 piece back, and sound is rich.

The W-40 has a really dark bass, and nice highs.  This guitar has one of the best sounds for open chords playing, so much warmth and body, perhaps from the use of Brazilian rosewood.

Top: Solid Spruce.
Back: 3-Piece: 2/Brazilian Rosewood with 1/maple
Sides: Brazilian Rosewood
Fret Board: Rosewood
Bridge: Rosewood
Nut: 43mm
Action: set low

Guitar Condition

This guitar is very nice all around, produces a vintage and impressive sound. Interior has no signs of repair, only minor surface cosmetics.

Note:  “Laminate” plates for Morris were made from 2 layers of solid wood glued together with natural resins. aka Semi Solid and far more resistant to cracking or damage from years of use. This guitar is a fine example of that build being long standing and has proven over test of time.  Looks great, sounds great.
